I like the blog, Have been away for awhile with life, LOL
ReplyDeleteI do think we should have Contact info so we can Send The MLB/NFL Happy grams to "help" convince them Upper Deck is Right for their leagues
try to get nba jersey cards from all the events of the year-a father/son dual auto set too
ReplyDeleteupper deck cards really revolutionized collecting. there wouldnt be a panini if not for the continued success of UD for the time they were around.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, I like how in some packs you can hit some superstar autos
ReplyDeleteI like the blog so far, but I think it needs more fan/reader interaction areas. Its a good start.
ReplyDeleteGreat Blog as is. UD will always be at the top of my list when it comes to quality. This blog is a super way to keep informed and keep excited about the future of collecting!! -John, Sylva,NC
ReplyDeleteWould love to see the Upper Deck product back on the shelves. Always a quality product and you could say they were the stepping stone for the transformation of card quality and inserts. Love the blog by the way....
ReplyDeleteUpper Deck always has quality cards. I wish more companies would follow suit. The UD SP is always a great product. Upper Deck started my card collecting days and has started my son's collecting days as well (2010 UD). I am loving the fact that this blog is here to help bring Upper Deck back to the forefront of card collecting. We need to band together so UD gets an exclusive contract with MLB. Thanks Again guys
ReplyDeleteI want to see series 1 and series 2 on the shelves. Can't beat supper glossy cards!
ReplyDeleteI really miss Upper Deck baseball cards and seeing some of the previews on this blog really takes me back. I have only seen photos of the 2012 UD Sp baseball and I think it looks good.
ReplyDeletecardbuster123
I kind of like the Sp. Maybe could use some photos but the design is nice!
ReplyDeleteI am new here and so far have really enjoyed this blog. I just recommend that we have contact information to discuss our concern about Upper Deck not having MLB, NFL, and NBA licenses. Too many emails or letters coming in to the league and they would either ignore us or do something about the problem. I have to think it is a 50/50 chance.
ReplyDeleteFor the most part I enjoy the blog but I think in order to get UD baseball cards back we need to get to the source and start emailing the MLB and persuade them to give UD rights to the MLB players.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via the "Bring Back UD...." FB pages. I have enjoyed it so far. As much as I love their college products, we need to bring it to the leagues' attentions that UD makes the best pro cards out there. Case in point...09 UD Black football.
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog and facebook pages for a while now and really enjoy them. I agree with the other comments and think that contacting the leagues directly is the best way to get UD back in the game. The leagues need to be shown that having multiple card products/companies will only benefit their teams and their overall dollar. Don't change a thing and keep up the great work. J Blackburn
ReplyDeleteWell I think that the best way to get back UD License is to not buy cards from other companies when we can I mean we all have to get a pack now and then but lets all try not buying Topps or Panini.
ReplyDeletei have always liked the look of the cards, very professional i remember opening a pack of cards years ago and getting a ken griffey jr rookie card and thinking i won the lottery.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the Sp Signature Baseball and i like what I see on the blog.
ReplyDeleteJohn K.
Love the blog. Would love to see a minor league set in either baseball or hockey
ReplyDeleteI love the Bobby Thomson auto card, that would be a great one to have!! I would like to see a bunch of cards with multiple auto's as long as they are all on the same team, I dont like cards with players on different teams.
ReplyDeletei love on card autos with big patch on it
ReplyDeleteLove this set, would love this box!
ReplyDeleteI would love to give these to my son, he just starting out collecting cards.
ReplyDeleteUD is my favorite card maker! I think you should award me this box since I bought a box of 2006 UD Exquisite Football a few months ago and pulled a Favre/Marino dual auto redemption that had expired and you told me there was nothing you could give me in place of it.
ReplyDeleteUpper Deck started it off with a Bang! They had the aweso e design with a hologram. Made it so hard for other companies to compete. Ive been an Upper Deck collector since 1989, Id love to see them bring back MLB. Theres been such beautifull cards throughout the years. 1 of my foavorites us the legendary cuts signed by Mantle and Maris. What an awesome card. It always seemed to me that Upper Deck set the standard and it made it hard for other companies to follow. Good Luck Upper Deck In ver happy we still got hockey!
ReplyDelete$85 for 3 cards? Wow a lot has changed since I first started collecting cards.
ReplyDelete^^^ Overall I love the entire product. Does it come with Gold trim?
ReplyDeleteLOVE Upper Deck period! Doesn't seem like there are too many people reading the blog tho:-(
